My Parish Council are being requested to provide land for Allotments which I am aware they have a duty to do.
As of yet on two occasions locations have been planned only to be stopped through various reasons. Rumours which turned into fact then came to notice that they intend to use land situated next to Residents Homes which had been purchased for future Burial land.
It would appear that as they are aware this plan would meet with strong opposition from around 100 residents that they have intentionally kept this plan low key.
Are a Parish Council under any obligation to consult Residents where the plans would have a possible detrimental affect on their lives. They do not circulate their minutes as having checked their webb site 2007 was the last entry and a monthly sheet that is sent out mentions Allotment Land but no locations.
