We have an unadopted road, well lane actually, it's not very long, serves residential properties, a public house and the local playing fields. It is only a short distance from an A road and is in need of some repair and are looking to get this 'adopted' is there anyone out there with experience of achieving this?

Funny you should ask actually...

Seriously though, I have no actual experience myself, but there are plenty of solicitors out there who can do it. I am not 100% sure where you are in the country, but a friend of mine in Surrey does work like this, and has acted for both the local Parish Council and PPC (Parochial Parish Council - the old chuch councils!)

Let me know if Surrey is too far?

Good luck,
Sarah
