Do you think it is worth applying for Quality Status? What is the approximate cost to a council? Are grants still available to help cover the costs?

Why would a council not want to strive for Quality Status?

I think it is worth while, ours was the first Parish in Suffolk to gain QPS and apart from some training it did not cost us much.

We gained quite a large amount of funds after gaining QPS.

This was spent on good projects within the parish. Laughing

Could you expand a bit on this as I'm interested in the real tangible benefits of QPS

Regards

Hi,

I wonder if I might also ask about the benefits. We have done it ourselves, and it has been a good thing to do, but I am not sure that there are quite so many actual (financial!!!) benefits from it.

Sx Confused
