This newly launched website for Pen Selwood in Somerset is a good example of how a compact, well-managed site can contain an enormous amount of information and material for the local community.

I think your website is wonderful. We did have plans a couple of years ago for a website, but it got pushed to the back of the agenda. I can imagine that it is an awful lot of work to keep it all up to date!

Really top class website. Perhaps the best Parish Council website that I have seen around.
I can see how it would be useful to people living in the village, but as a person who had never even heard of Pen Selwood (is that how it is spelt), I thought that it was very interesting and informative.
Congratulations Pen Selwood / Penselwood. |

I thought this was very good. One thing that I did think was that because my computer screen is really big, sometimes the letters looked a bit small. Can this be changed on the screen at all? |

Hi Sarah,
The Pen Selwood website is designed so that it will fit in all browser windows, and as such it is fixed at 800px wide. We do provide a number of other designs, but this is one of our favourites. In fact, our own website used to be based on this design.
As for the size of the fonts being small, perhaps this could be a setting which you can change on your monitor?
Thanks for the feedback! _________________ For more information on getting your own Parish Council website, please visit [b:d7ad3e42ad]www.parishcouncil.net[/b:d7ad3e42ad] |

I think that it is a nice website. Well done to the people running it.
I have to say that the size of the letters and everything was fine for me. |
